The singer has been awarded numerous times and accolades, including numerous Top Ten hits, two multi-Platinum album releases, as well as an appearance as mentor on several singing programs. The singer was honored with Four American Music Awards as well with twelve Billboard Music Awards. Two Grammy Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards and two Grammy Awards. There have been 98 nominations for awards for music that are major and has been presented with seventy awards.
