Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known for her role as the main character of Fox's House medical show. Following her upbringing by conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was her destination to study theater at Tisch. She became very involved with the clubs in the city of New York, and was able to be noticed from the news media. While doing so she began to become conscious of AIDS and its devastating impacts. She eventually used her experience and fame to write and compose an musical entitled Positive Me which she starred. Awake in the Wild Side was her next job.
