Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, host of a TV show and actress famous for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Born in Arkansas She was raised in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. Sheryl spent the majority of her life taking care of her sister Frankie, who had polio. As a teenager, she experienced many issues with her mother. Sheryl alleges that, for instance she was stabbed by her mother's father after he became close to her. Sheryl became a member of the military shortly after graduating from college. She was interested in comedy. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She began her TV career in 1992 after she was a regular participant on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the show Oh Drama! The present co-host on the Talk talk show since 2011. In addition she has also played fictional roles in series like Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
