Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl is an American actor, comedian and television host and is most well-known for hosting The Talk, a popular chat show on daytime. The Talk. She was born and raised in Little Rock. Sheryl has a turbulent family. She spent most of her growing up taking care of her older sister Frankie who suffered from the disease of polio. As a child, her relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl said that at one point her mother had stabbed the father of her child due to the fact that she had been a little too closer to the father. Sheryl was a soldier following her graduation from college. But, she was interested in the field of comedy. The show was named the first ever female finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. Her TV career as a frequent performer at The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She also appeared in 2000 as a host on the TV program Oh Drama! The show has also featured her as host on The Talk since 2011. She's also appeared in fictional show like Bulworth Niki as well as Beauty Shop.
