Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia is a model and actress. Her fame was first noticed in Australia through her character Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap show Neighbors in a series of ten episodes that were broadcast from 2006 to 2007. Her debut project in Hollywood was the choral-comedy Hollywood & Wine, where she played an actress that is first-time in Hollywood. Scrubs ninth season, Maya is the recurring role of the character. The show was then abruptly cancelled. The next couple of years, the actress is expected to be working on a Farrelly brothers' comedic Good to film, which will feature Jason Sudeiki's Owen Wilson. Her 2013 was marked by greater exposure. She was featured on the six seasons of Franklin and Bash and landed her first role as a regular, in Chosen. Milo Ventimiglia played the role of lead. Also, she was Chad Michael Murray's replacement for the series' first two seasons. Then she played a supporting role in two feature-length films that focused on planes.
